last time I did bacon it was to salty to eat. And it usually ends up in the grinder for sausage.

This was my 3rd day today. I aint moving off my duff tomorrow. Evven my legs are swollen. They never swell !

My ankles swell most of the time. Result of being a nurse and on my feet all day for many years.

I remember my GM talking about how they never wasted a drop of a pig. She even rendered all the fat for oil and soap.

Wishing, Do you think you will put a tree up this year ? I imagine #2 will come home to thaw out a bit and complain about how hot it is there. LOL

I always have a tree. That's Christmas to me. May not be many gifts, and you know how much I don't love cooking, so decorating a tree is what makes it Christmas. And I love the smell.
