This was before the neverending rain arrived - still needs the run roof and the rest of the dirt around it to cover the 18" of hardware cloth all around. I even stitched the corners together with wire - I know how good my own dogs are at digging holes in the pasture for voles! We added river sand to the run inside - I spilled a bit in the coop and the girls are very excited about it. Wondering if I need to add some dune fence around the bottom of the run so the girls feel a bit less "on display" with our big dogs around?
WHen I built the door he came home and checked the diagonals for square: "let's see... 78" this way and..... a fat 78" this way. Not bad." Ha!
I'm so sorry he isn't well right now - I know what that's like. the first two years we were married we were in the hospital 6 times between the two of us for surgeries, including a spinal procedure
I try to not to think too much about the distant future. I had been dating younger men than me, but we just didn't see enough of the world in a similar enough way. You love who you love.
