Granny's gone and done it again

Wait, what? This is just a little farmer's market where they auction local beef cattle. The cattlemen's assoc. kind of place. Couldn't be no worse than TSC. I think.
The safest thing to do is hatch your own. But if you buy from an auction be sure to quarantine and the best way to do that IMO is to add one chicken to the new ones and see if it gets sick. If it does you will need to think along the lines of treating the whole flock or culling the new ones and the one you added.

Im upset. I always get my way. No is a odd word to hear.
Free 30 gallon fish tank. I could replace it w/ one of my smaller ones and have extra stuff. But,I "have too many fish tanks". This dont make sense to me at all. I didnt argue or even explain . The fight isnt in me. I will just go buy my extra heater I need .

Well, I'm considering that option too... I don't know if my black sex link female (the only pullet I have) will get broody, but I'm going to chunk her in with Henri (BR) or leave her with Charlie Sheen (BSL) and see if she'll do it for me. But I do like buffs Orphingtons or Brahmas too.

And the only one that would be left in the big coop is Charlie Sheen the black sex linked cockerel... so treating them as a group would be easy... remember Henri is in the garden area all by his lonesome.

Ugh. It’s the back and forth that’s killing me too. I was ready last week. Then I thought I was ready this week. But she’s not.

Though now she’s completely flopped and will likely sleep most of the rest of the day.
Sounds like me. I planned to go get my ear Rx today but I slept until they had already closed. Now it hurts.

Who told you no?

Cindy, I dont think sex links will go broody. Time for an incubator . LOL
Cap, Tom said I have too many. He didnt directly tell me no but it frustrated me . I could of went alone to pick it up . Just didnt want to.
Camping, Sorry to hear that. Home schooling aint so bad. Takes less time. Just 2 hrs a day and pop up what work they need to do and help them if its needed.

I just want to say that I hope this helps anyone researching where to purchase chickens in Alabama. And again, if you live within the state, please add on any information!

There needs to be some of these near Dothan, AL. Any idea where/when a nearby chicken show or auction is?
