Yeah just took it last night. Got some algae forming. Thinking of getting an otocat or something. My pleco is a slacker.

younger plecos seem to do their job but once they get a little size on them(which means your feeding it) they get lazy.

Well. He is a few years old by now. He’s a bristlenose so he’s probably full grown now. Though he has grown a bit more. Can’t fit in the sushi bar anymore

Yep. Evenly divisible by 4 but not by 100 = leap year

Ours does that sometimes. If one has lost about 14.5 pounds since the last time they weighed, DD1's cat somehow re-zeroed the scale with his weight. Not sure how that happens.


I've had 4 BAs. Two never went broody, one does about once a year and the other at least twice if not three times a year. She did raise a couple of batches of mailed chicks.


Must have been tough when you were in the service.

Nope, 1st class letter postage is Forever and says so. Buy a sheet today and it will still be valid on a letter in 10 years no matter what the cost of a "new" stamp would be then.

The rabbits here don't bother the daylilies. They did chew on the gladiolus leaves but decided they weren't all that tasty. Chomped DWs crocus though.

She's gotta be older than Methuselah by now!


My broccoli is like that this year. No big heads, just weird twisted flower bits and only on 2 of the 8 plants.

Bistle nose plecos dont eat algae when they get their bristles. They cant. The bristles get in the way.

Yes, they will suck the slime coat off fish! I don't like them.
