Granny's gone and done it again

I had a single quail survive hatching this time. The first one that hatched got into the humidity well in the incubator and drowned. The last two had to be helped out of their eggs. One died soon after that. Well I couldn't leave it alone so I put it in with the banty chicks. You should see it cuddle up with them! And it runs circles around them, it's so fast!
And i have at least one and possibly two Large Fowl cochins that are broody. The broody polish is still on the nest.
Maybe it will be friendly !

cant he transport it w/ the Highlander ?
He could have if we had a trailer, but then we'd have to pay for that, along with CA registration fees, and there's nowhere for him to store a trailer at the house he's at.
The other roommates ride dirt bikes off road. Might be cheaper just to buy him a used one, or maybe a crossover that is street legal so he can ride to school. The window for riding in Montana is very small. Next thing, he'll want a snow mobile.

Thats true on the snow mobile. Is there a thing like a atv motorcycle ? I was thinking he could buy a rack if there isnt one already on top of the highlander.

aww, Im sorry to hear this. I hope she gets better quickly. I have tried to get Robert into counseling for years. He is so stubborn
Thank you. We've all been in court-ordered counseling since Day One when we first got them because they came to us from the court system. You can't take kids from their home without traumatizing them, even if it is "in their best interest."
