Granny's gone and done it again

Emergency ! I was scrubbing and I was needed in the house! I get in there to find out an egg blew up. Big emergency. I mean, yeah it's stinky but jeez, I don't even fart much. But I have been informed I need to keep my eggs under better control.

Well, I'll be, like you have any control over that stuff. How long have the eggs been in the bator? I read you can do a sniff test and find bad ones that way. Tonight makes 3 days, but I'm waiting until 6 days to candle... Just hate messing with the eggs.

Great, went and bought some flowers. Cleaned out a chicken coop and scrubbed the walls. Pulled weeds, dug holes for the flowers. And the usual chores.

Don't forget, ya bashed yur head and had an egg blowout!

Whatsa matta with muh chickens? Danged things.. Yesterday I made mini egg noodles and stir fried veggies.. Thought I would be 'nice' and share some with my kids this morning. They all turned their noses up at it! Ingrates!!

Just got back from town. I start work tomorrow and they said wear comfy clothes. I didn’t have any pants “comfy” pants that fit or were nice enough for work, or nice closed-toe shoes, so I took DD shopping with me. We put a hurting on Maurice’s and Target.

Sounds about like my day... Did something, god only knows what, to my thumb and it was bleeding... dropped the drawer on my ankle.. and um.. something else... can't remember.

I often look at my bruises, cuts and scabs and wonder how they all happened!

They weren't in the bator. We don't have a fridge for eggs so they sit on a shelf in flats. Boom stink a stink stink!

Oh yeah, and I worked on digging a drainage ditch in front of the duplex coop. Then as the light was fading, I put up another section of wire on top of the new Serama run. One left to do, then I need to get out the pneumatic stapler and tack the ends onto wood. There are 5 trees in this run, I think I will cut off the one nearest the door.
