Granny's gone and done it again

Hubby informed me I need to clean up the garbage around here, it's disgusting. Mostly old feed bags. What I really need is two more garbage cans. The garbage doesn't smell for the most part, it's just not tidy. And if I need to haul garbage tomorrow morning I need to unload all the swap gear and then collect and load all the garbage. I am under so much stress what with dealing with parasites and trying to get ready for the big swap I could just scream. Need to make it so I can feed all the critters enough feed for two days. Right now I have a lot of young birds so I am feeding twice a day.

Hang in there girl.

Cap, I agree, take a deep breath and remember my potato analogy? Peel one at a time then move on to the next potato.

Personally we keep our feed bags and use them for trash bags in the shop and hobby room. They are durable and leak proof. When I dump a bag into one of the assigned garbage cans, I fold it up and tuck them away in a can that doesn't have a lid. They even come in handy for cleaning out brooders and pens.

I mean, we all pay for those stupid bags along with the feed in them. We may as well get some use out of them.

You don't need to stress yourself out, my friend. Frankly the first potato I would deal with would be the parasite problem, that is the most important and your animal's health depends on it. Everything else will fall into place. :hugs

The lamb is resting. I fried shrooms , sweet onions and zsquash in some real butter and have a side of tater salad.
For a gal that doesn't cook, that sounds right tasty!

That's a great suggestion about those feed bags. Better than folding them up and burning them, and then paying for big black plastic trash bags... I mean, I'll still need to buy plastic bags, but I'll get some use out of recycling the feed bags. Thanks!

Plus they fit in the standard tall kitchen type garbage can with a bit of overage as far as height is concerned but we just stuff one in the garbage can and fold the overage over if you want to or not.

Hey, @CapricornFarm, I forgot to tell you. We got the two closet doors done today. At least built. I'm going to sand and stain tomorrow then mount the barn door hinges. I'll get pics of them when I do.

Sounds great, I wish we had more closets. Two doesn't do it.

So do I. These closets are tiny, maybe 2' x 4' The doors are 20" X 70". We have already built one big closet and we really need to build more. Amish, go figure. They don't have big closets but they shoved everything they own into drawers/dressers/wardrobes.
