Granny's gone and done it again

Never did find my glasses. Maybe tomorrow in the daylight.
I did clean some brooders and worked on the quail hutch that is becoming a brooder. The only thing left to make is the bottom plywood tray. Tomorrow I plan to work on the last gate for that goat fence.

I hope you find them and good job on the rest.

I am so tired yall. My eyes hurt. Twist got me drooling over here and not a bite of chocolate to be had. Im going to bed !
I love you all. sweet dreams
Sweet dreams, Sis. :hugs

Cast iron?
That's what I think of for a Dutch oven. You can make bread in a camp fire in one. But, since I avoid the kitchen as much as possible, not sure what makes a Dutch oven a Dutch oven.

well that what I think they call it. its a 6 or 8 quart kettle , thick bottomed with just the little handles on the side not like the sauce pan handles.

I made no-knead bread in this cast-iron Dutch oven the other day after I seasoned it. It has a bail, not handles, so it can be hung over an open fire. It can also be buried in coals in a hole in the ground and have more coals placed on top of the lid (not shown here). You can bake bread and cake and biscuits and roasts and soups and chili and stews and dumplings in this multi-purpose tool, in the oven, over a campfire, in a fireplace, on a stovetop. You can cook in it, Sam I am, you can cook cornbread and ham!

Problem when I misplace my glasses is I can't see well enough to find them.
Can you drive without yours?
