Granny's gone and done it again

We don't have service like that here. I guess if we had a real tree it would end up "down yonder" in a gully somewhere for birds and critters to nest in. (We live in the middle of a forest and don't need to plant any more.) H2o, what would you like to see happen to cut trees, for people who have no place to plant one?

I think it is what the tree symbolizes. It must go back to my childhood.

Not here, they throw them out in the gutter. Nothing sadder than taking My walk and seeing those beautiful trees. Not sure why it bothers me so much. Maybe it’s not the tree maybe it’s just all the sadness in this world. It must be way deeper than the tree.

Yeah, it's the "you've served your purpose, I'm done with you, you're discarded" syndrome. I feel it too, after every Christmas. Maybe that's why I don't do too much to build up to it any more. It's like there's months of build up and anticipation, then poof and it's over. The let-down... it's kind of sad.

Yeah, it's the "you've served your purpose, I'm done with you, you're discarded" syndrome. I feel it too, after every Christmas. Maybe that's why I don't do too much to build up to it any more. It's like there's months of build up and anticipation, then poof and it's over. The let-down... it's kind of sad.

Yes I think that is it. As kids we always thought some great present would change our lives, make us happier. It doesn’t. maybe for that moment or day but toys break or become boring. Like vernas signature says, happiness is what we make of life, not from an outside thing or person.
