l could allways fry it. thats pretty easy and it cooks down to nothing.

Mine is not very big. My recipe calls for putting the vegs in during the last 2 hours of a 6-hour cook, but I have read so many recipes, I can't remember if that's for a stovetop in water, or a bake!I usually steam my cabbage and carrots OR nuke them, Just the beef in the crock pot with a little extra pickling spice added.
I have a knuckle buster thingy and he has one good hand.so put Tom to work grating the cabbage.
