My folks were alcoholics too. Mom was meaner than a four-headed rattlesnake. Dad not so bad, a binge drinker but kept us at arm's length, or tried to. I really miss him. Alcohol is a deadly poison.

I use to drink...too much. Finally got my act together. Glad in His word. Haven't had a drink in over 30 years.

About half my sisters learned to love it as well.

I'm the only truly sober one in my family too. And I'm a mess even though I don't drink, lol!

I'm bipolar. I'm pretty stable right now, partly due to pharmaceuticals. And very much due to my relationship with the Lord. But the stresses of Covid are having an effect on me. You guys help a LOT!

Bless your heart. We have a daughter that is bipolar. It's tough. Glad you're getting through it. She's also been on meds for a while now, and active in church.
