Never could get my chickens to eat pellets. Are they eating the shells? Those should be fine. Just that time of year.

Yeah, they like the egg shell. It has little eggy bits cooked on. Yummy.
I lost my oyster shell source last summer. Tried a few other products but their shells got super thin and very poor quality... until someone at the feed store reminded me I could feed back their own shells. Duh

Works. I got too lazy, just used the oyster shell.

I like trash day too. Lets me clean out the fridge so I can cook again! (The Man carries the trash out to where it gets picked up, he's strong!) I only get to cook about 2 or 3x a week, then we eat leftovers till they're gone. Guess I could freeze them but I would quickly fill up the freezer.
