Nope. It wasn't offered at their school and it's only just now really taking off around here. A lot of the kids are already from farming families, so i guess "Future Farmers" didn't have a big enough following. My sister runs the Ag program at her high school and serves as the advisor for a really active and growing (no pun intended ... well, okay, maybe a little one!) "Her Kids" do a big petting zoo/info event at their local TSC every year, They have a dozen different kinds of chickens and ducks inside, along with rabbits, goats and sheep. Outside, they have horses, cattle (dairy and beef) and occasionally a llama. TSC donates some of the proceeds to them and they are allowed to put out a donation jar. They don't get a whole lot, but they get a lot of attention and some press coverage. It's a lot of fun.Were your kids ever in FFA?
