My bone spurs are on my heels! Thick insoles a must!

I hate having to wear the expensive shoes. 200$ a pair now to slog around in the chicken coop. Kinda grates against my sensabilities. Plus I have to lace my shoe weird on the right foot in order to keep the pressure off of my bone spurs.

I have learned how to make moccasins and have found that my feet are really happy when I wear them. Don't wear them outside but constant companions indoors.

Next I'm making a pair of Cherokee Eastern style Moccasins and I want to learn how to do decorative beading. I'm an 8th Cherokee and have been exploring my native American heritage lately. It's been fun.

Morning all. Sunny and warm here today before the bottom falls out of the thermometer and we have highs in the 30s and lows in the teens. Not looking forward to the drastic change in temps.

Morning all, cleaning up dog barf already. Oh joy. I tell Tom dont step in that so he kicks it and it goes flying everywhere all while Im on the phone with Georges Pharmacy.
Primary drs today for Tom and myself.

Tom has those shoes too but because he had a toe amputation they also make custom inserts for him and total cost is around 1k . Must be nice. I am wearing a $11. pair of mens shoes that are 2 sizes too big for me.
I would like to see your moccasins . They sound nice.

dr told Tom and I we needed a booster from one of our childhood vacs. Pretty sure this is what it was.
Monkeypox is an orthopoxvirus. It is related to variola, the orthopoxvirus that causes smallpox.

It might be measle vaccine. There were a few years from our era that the vaccine didn't last.
I had to get a redo shot in my 30s.

Because of all the immigration and world travel in general, measles keeps popping up in the US. You wouldn't want to get it.

Maybe, I dont really remember what it was for. Im taking my b12 shot with me to the drs. Its 2 weeks past due. I asked Robert twice .

your guess would be as good as mine. Maybe he thought it was a dog toy.
He is going back on antibiotics for his uti. She said she would research about him being on them long term. About time.

as for me, My a1c was good at 6.5 She is sending me to yet another surgeon for the blockages in my legs. This time in Madison. She also made me an offer that I have to think on a lot. She said she is willing to take over my pain control. That would mean no more trips to Seymour. She is in Vevey which is a 1/2 hr drive on a good day. I would also only have to come once every 3 months. What she wont do is increase my meds. ever. She said I am as high as she is willing to go. Shes no expert in pain management like the clinic is.
When I got home PT had called and wants me to start also in Vevey.
I told Robert what she said and he got mad all over again. He hates her and dont understand why I would give her any business. He previously had cussed her out. He wants me to find another dr. all together. He is very upset with me.
What else is new....
