Granny's gone and done it again

Howdy all, I'm going to be making Oatmeal Peanutbutter Chocolate chip cookies. We will be taking them along to a family Thanksgiving get together. I'm hoping to make six-ish dozen.
:drool :drool Forget the family. Box em all up and mail them to me.

Oatmeal chocolate chip are my favorite. Never tried putting peanut butter in them, though.

Fresh baked.

We are tidying up the garden space for where my studio shed will go. Hubby is cutting back the stumps further. I am picking up rocks and shoveling dirt into holes. And pulling vines, weeds, picking up sticks, bark, leaves etc. There was a big hump of soil near the pine tree stump. Those stumps are tough! He cut the visible roots once i dug all around it, and pull with my 4wd truck. But it only broke the big rope he used.
And he keeps thinking of stuff for me to do, so i am getting nowhere on building Mel's new shelter. Sigh. Right now i need a rest and some fluids.

Sounds like shoofly pie?
Shoofly pie.... :drool .... another Pennsylvania Duetch epicurean delight!

You guys are making me feel all nostalgic. My mom was a tremendously talented cook. She could make Shoofly that was good enough to wake the dead for a slice.

Guess I'm lucky, I was raised in a household with lots of good ethnic food, from Southern Cuisine to Pennsylvania Duetch/German food. There was always some might good eatin going on around our home.

I had to draw the line at Pigs Feet and Beans thought. Love beans and ham with cornbread but never could handle eating pigs feet unless they were pickled. Just too much work getting through the fat to get to the meat.
