It was just over 2,000 last year.Scott had put a few things onto the property..carport, garage/shop behind that.

I doubt that. Housing has exploded.. plus high interest rates. In oregon they raise your property taxes every year based on the house value. At least we don’t have that in california. It does suck in calif.

But it is based on the price when you bought it. Everywhere has gone up, but where hubs' is wanting to look, it's still...well...reasonable-ish? We might be able to swing by a no mortgage. Might be a fixer upper, but....

Hows Kira doing Pro? Fawn keeps running to her crate and sitting there staring at me. Its where she gets fed. LOL She is always hungry.

She's doing good, she's settling in and learning the routine. Goes right to her crate when it's time for me to go to work - though soon she'll be left outside for when I go to work. Probably losing my work from home in the afternoons. She's stopped sleeping all night in the bed - not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing lol. She does pre bedtime snuggles and then heads off to her bed in her crate when it's actual bedtime.
