Granny's gone and done it again

I'm tired. Spent some time napping after being up and out so early. Basically a double shift with a nap in between. I found and caught the White Giant rooster that the dog was chasing. I followed the trail of white feathers around the oaks that had dense azaleas around them. The big boy escaped with his life because of those azaleas. He has no tail feathers at all now and a puncture wound on his tail. He is ok and is strutting around like he wants a rematch. Shuster is not out of the woods. Several puncture wounds on his back that we hope do not get infected. He has a coat of triple antibiotic applied nice and thick. He's not happy about not being with his girl friends the least. His ability to crow is working fine. Late this after noon the cattleman that has cows adjoining us may have been shooting at the dog. Multiple shots fired near us coming from the way the dog ran off to. I will be out waiting just in case in a coup that he tries to get into.
I hope your chickens survive and you can get rid of the culprits. Took me a year to find and dispose of the three that had been attacking our livestock!

Robert just said I might as well be in a wheelchair. :(
Aww, Granny, that wasn't very nice and it wasn't true either. You get up and go places. It isn't easy and it's painful, but you do it. You have a lot of determination and courage. Grit! But ... idk... maybe a wheelchair might make some things a little easier?
