Granny's gone and done it again

I'm confused. Dr says what we eat doesn't much affect our blood cholesterol levels, our bodies produce it and you could probably eat whatever you want and it wouldn't make much difference. But then she said it's a good idea to avoid fried foods, fast foods, greasy foods. So .... which is it? :idunno
It may not be for the cholesterol but for the gallbladder and other possible organs. I make so much cholesterol that nothing controlled it for a long time. It's not really bad any more. I do need to find a way to lower it that doesn't involve diet that doesn't work for me and never has. I went vegan for a few months and nothing changed. Doc warned me about a vegan diet without careful planning and making sure it didn't create other problems. I went for a year on a drug called Repatha. Injections. Home injections. No noticeable side affects. no muscle cramps and pain like statins were causing. After the year of testing the cost was going to be over $14,000 a year so that was not doable. I was able to take lipitor again after that until now. Now it makes my legs weak and I'm off of it and the lipid panel is not good. I see Cardiologist next week and we go from there. My mother could eat a whole stick of butter a day and a cup of sugar and have a lipid panel of a teenager. She lived almost to a 100. Individual body chemistry keeps doctors guessing what a patient really needs I believe.

Thanks, Larry, that helps. So I guess we have to find what works for me.

She couldn't seem to stand up. She could move her legs, but was not weight bearing. I really wanted to take her to the vet, but due to cost and the nature of her problem it didn't seem logical to do so. I think she had multiple problems.
She died last night .
My cat isn’t using her left front leg. I think she dislocated her shoulder.

Because they use bad oils. Only have butter, cream, bacon fat and beef fat. Vegtable oils are what is bad. Canola, corn, Crisco. All bad
