I took another Mule load of bedding out of the goat house. I have come a long way planting fodder for them in the by pass near the original pasture. Planted more seeds there again today.

I used to plant fodder in containers for my chickens during the winter.

OMG what a mess since I checked out last night.

Sometime during the night I had to pee. got out of bed, instant leg cramp collapsed in a weird way/direction and I think either broke or dislocated my little toe. Skin is also torn open. I think that's what happened wasn't real awake. Managed to "tweak" my back attempting to move a 50 lb bag of feed with said bum foot/leg. Brought in 32 dozen eggs, NOT to bad since this is from Last Thursday afternoon until about noon today.
The commercial dryer is heating now. not sure what Mike did but YEA??

Sold 5 dozen eggs already.

I've broken my right pinky twice e and my left once. It's painful! Sorry for you. You're toe/foot atea will turn some pretty colors. Pretty black/blue at first, then some greens, then yellow.

I took the pets, Honey and Phil Silvers out and through some scratch to the roosters and got my carcass back inside. It's up to 50 now but I'm waiting on 60 and maybe the 70. I'm building Ma a shelf stand to put her bread machine one and her 16" electric skilled on and a few more things that do no get used every day today. Just as soon not be hurried using the miter saw that has no guard on it right now..... I would like to keep my fingers and arms in tack.

We inherited one from our oldest son who sold his house and bought an RV to live in so he could travel. He installed his own internet in it so he can work for anywhere a satellite can reach. We have not used it yet but will soon.

It's just not been a good day today. Didn't get much more done than to bury a pet rooster late this afternoon after chores of feeding and watering. As I was coming back from the burial my big boy Legs met me at the porch gate area on top of the smoker grill. I walked up to him and had to lookup as his head was nearly a foot above mine. That rascal has gotten big. He's also heavy. He let me pick him up without a fuss so I brought him inside to sit in my lap while he got a special treat. I guess this means his sidekick and room mate on roost will get to come in tomorrow night for a special treat. Need to get a good picture of him anyway.

Sorry about your rooster, Larry. At least he had good care while he lived.

You move feed bags with your feet? Um, I use my hands and arms. Try it out. Sorry you got hurt! About all you can do for a broken toe is tape it to the one next to it. Hugs.

The Parvo is so important.

Only for puppies. I never vaccinate my adults for parvo. Lifelong immunity if they get their puppy shots. You can titer for their immunity.
