Wife should be home soon. I'm getting hungry now. When I eat I will be sleepier. Then a nap is guaranteed.

All I've done today is to open a coop door and take care of the brooder kids with feed and water. I must remember to put the incubating silkie eggs into lock down tomorrow. Then on Thursday the rest of the eggs go into lock down. Then need to prepare with cheeping on the weekend. I've got to build another Hoop Coop with brooding box in it by next Monday. It may bet built tomorrow. #2 daughter will be here to do what ever we need done the most and that is probably the squeaking wheel at the moment.

I worked in a nap today too. Ma and I did the chores together this evening. All is well in the coops except one. One of three Ancona pullets is missing. She may turn up yet. There was one this morning and while we where out doing chores another one turned up. They are notorious for being secretive. The coop door got opened up some how before we got out this morning. Don't have any idea how. The rooster and 2 Ancona girls look fine.

Tomorrow is going to be a sunny day and with help that is coming I will get another brooder built that needs to be ready not later than Monday. Indoor brooder is running over and the occupants need to be to an outside brooder so the Easter hatch will have a place to call home.
