Bronwyn's mother is in a different one now.
She had a tumor removal last year. Had a seizure after the surgery. Was put on seizure medication. Now drs are wondering if she's having seizures. This place is doing all of the testing, without seizure meds. 3rd day, no seizures! If non by Monday she can come home. Whoot.
Now they want to to put her on Gabapentin for Migraines she's been having. I've read that some of you use this. Is it a strong pain med?

I use up to 3 600mg gabapentin tablets a day. That is what is prescribed for the fire and nerve pain in my left shoulder that needs replacing now. Gabapentin is for a lot of conditions. The best answers are on https://www.drugs.com/gabapentin.html It comes in more than one type I believe. Some days I only take it in the morning and again at bedtime. It is not a pain med like Trammadol and certainly not hydracocone or oxycodone. It works a different way. Memory tells me it's a strong med to treat epilepsy seizures so it sounds like it is a good med for the lady. Only time and use will tell. It like you don't know if you will like a mango until you try it.

That is a beautiful species. While living in FL we had one called the dinner plate yellow. It had huge bright yellow flowers the size of a dinner plate. Cold weather and old age finally did it in.

Granny I hope you have found a way to work some quality sleep in using your bed instead of the chair. Like others have said you really need help at this point. Dealing with someone who has a mind of their own can be challenging. How to I know? Ask me wife.
