Vicki and I tried a couple of the fake tidbits peices that wouldn't fit into the jar. IT REALLY does taste just like pineapple the texture is off BUT no worries there.

But why? To use up the squash?

4 quarts of peeled and cut up zucchini , 1 46 oz can of UNsweetened pineapple juice, 1 and 1/2 cups of lemon juice and 3 cups of sugar, bring to boil turn down to rapid simmer for ? minutes. Put in hot jars and water bath for 20 minutes. Either pints or 1/2 pints.

Well, I got the news of your birthday late, Julie. I hope it was a memorable one.

Sure is good to see you back on line and posting again. Now I can wander off to bed and maybe sleep better. Already had some knock out meds that might help me sleep tonight.

I went to bed and slept a few minutes maybe. I'm not sure. I finally just got up and took one of the Melatonin 3a.m. 10mg tablets. lt should help me go to sleep. I hope so. Much to get done and not a lot of time to dot it. That sort of like the theme song to Smokey and the Bandit movie.

Gonna take one more melatonin and try to sleep one more time. I've been laying out the new vineyard with both some seedless bunch grapes and large muscadines.
