Oof, sorry to hear, Chick... here's hoping your family recover soon and uneventfully. I was hospitalized with that crap and don't care for a repeat. Got tested, waiting for results. I had the digestive version.just hope it's allergies and not covid. We have friends who are fighting it out in PA. Daughter got it at work, she's a special ed teacher, she brought it home, mom got it then granny got it and now dad has it. Dad said that this is his second go round with it and this time it's really knocked him for a loop.
Oh yes, was up several times rinsing eyes. And peering into them with a mirror to see if Shinny had donated cat hairs into them, lol! Felt like tiny saw blades on fire but no, nothing. Dr just ordered me a Rx but the ins would not cover the $222 charge. However, the pharmacist found the exact same thing on the shelf for - are you sitting down? - $18!!! People can say what they do about big pharma but it looks to me like they are in bed pretty cozily with Big Insurance too. Have already put drops in my eyes and they feel better. Thanks!Have you tried rinsing your eyes with cold water? My Doctor Honey told me to try it and it does work with allergy eyes. Also try Pataday eye drops if you get too miserable. They are OTC without a script.
