Granny's gone and done it again

She walked the RR tracks picking up pieces of coal that had fallen off the trains to heat her house
The women of this generation were heroic. My grandmother raised six girls and a boy on her own and I have no idea how she did it. A couple of rustlers tried to steal her cow and she shot them.

I have to go back several generations for such rich stories. Although I did sit at my Grandma's bedside when she was ailing at the end and she told me lots of juicy stories about raising her 19 children, all about their birth when she didn't know her due date, in tears she blamed herself for my father's death. If she had talked with him a couple minutes longer, he would have been too late to meet the drunk driver and he wouldn't have died. My aunt's said those stories aren't all true but I cherished them

My GF on moms side and my father both shot a man. GF did a year in prison because the judge asked him if he had it to do over what would he have done and he answered he would of made sure he killed him.
My father shot a young boy 16 for the color of his skin. It was during the riots in Detroit in the 60s

Yes. Today there was some kind of rodent in the back porch, bigger than a mouse but not a rat, that the cat declined to take care of so I whacked it with my cane. Sometimes you just do what you have to do. I guess my cat is broken. ☹️
And you imagined you had a gun in hand and you have that rustler what for!:rant

Did you kill it? I could of used you today! Mouse in Toms desk and when he opened it it just sat there looking at him!

Your GF was standing up for his beliefs. That's the kind of answer DH would give.
