I think it's the way the chicken is processed. I bought a bag of chicken breasts recently that must have been harvested from old roosters because that stuff is as tough and stringy as leather. The only way I can chew it is if I marinade it for a few hours.
Morning folks. We went from 50 degrees yesterday to 20 today. I hate January. So cold and miserable. I wish we would get snow over this cold. But the good news is we are half way through the month and February is just two months away from April and spring.
Not much on the agenda today. Diverticulitis is making itself felt any many interesting ways and I can't figure out what I've eaten to make it turn on me so I'm drinking tea, eating soft bland food and waiting for the antibiotics to kick in.
God getting old is a cold hearted witch.
