Dh can't sit still even if he doesn't feel well. He's like the Energizer bunny. So I have to keep selling. I sometimes ask him to slow down. If he's at home he will just pace. He cant sit down and relax to paint because his thinker doesn't comply

I do sell there. In the past years it has become a hot spot for scammers and people taking advantage of each other. Im unable to have a regular job from home but I still need to earn money so I scratch together, do what I can/where I can. I have always done work on the side so disability doesn't pay enough to not have a job at all

I'm thankful the procedure went well and DH is on the road to full recovery! How's your shoulder? Is it telling you to slow down and take care of yourself too? You need to go rest and let the box fairy unpack everything. Don't have a box fairy? me either but it would be nice!

DH's temperature has been below 98.6 since last evening and his drainage is all but clear right now. Happy dance time!

I ran up to Kirksville first thing this morning to pick up the antibiotics they forgot to prescribe yesterday and picked up a few groceries while I was at it.

Is my shoulder telling me to slow down, oh, heck yeah. For some reason the repaired biceps doesn't like me to drive. Just hanging onto the steering wheel it starts to ache and I'm having to rest my right forearm on my leg and steer from the bottom of the wheel with that arm. I go back to PT tomorrow, which should be interesting as I have only been doing about half of my exercises once daily but if anybody says anything to me about it I'm going to say I didn't hear anybody volunteering to come help us so that is all the time I had to dedicate to my healing shoulder.

So, no, I'm not listening to it and DH is trying to get me to rest more but I'm using selective deafness there too. Just have so much to do and we are so busy running back and forth between doctors and PT, none of them in town naturally so I have to as they say, make hay while the sun shines. Today is laundry catch up day and banana bread baking day followed by white bread baking day, followed by sweep up the dog and cat hair balls that are rolling around like tumbleweed day. .... the list goes on. But I'm so happy that DH is feeling better finally in spite of having to walk around with his drainage system for the next week that I could cry so doing the catch up work is a treat for me because it means we aren't on the road driving to gawd knows what hospital or doctor next!
