Granny's gone and done it again

It turned out to be a fracture in her 'ankle' the tarsal tibia bone. Everything is in alignment and they didn't recommend any pinning as it's a growth plate bone and they want it to heal naturally. So she came home in a splint, drugged to the limit and happily snoring on the sofa between DH and myself. They sent home like 4 different pain meds for her.Just common sense stuff. They said at worse her right leg might grow a bit slower than the right but that was it.

All I can say is Thank God for answered prayers. DH and I have both been up since around 4:30. Neither of us slept good. Hopefully we can both catch a nap this afternoon.

Thanks for the prayers everyone.

Oh, the carrier? I do have one but not like that exactly. The front of the walker is v-shaped so it doesn't hang straight or balance properly. I manage, thanks.

Thanks, Twist. Like I said, I manage. Lately I've started using the wheelchair when I need to carry things (not my hot drink, though!). It will carry a sandwich on a plate, even a bowl of cereal, a basket of laundry, lots of things. For hot drinks Melissa is most obliging. ❤️

This has been wonderful! This is mine. I found it at a yard sale years ago when Scott was alive. The price was so good I had to get it. I told him, some day I may need this. Yep. It sat in the garage until I did. Has hand brakes if needed. Wheels are just the right size. Holds a pretty good amount of weight too.

I have one of those and an electric wheel chair. From Robert after he passed. The one's that take a tennis ball on the legs is a NO GO here unless you want dogs trying to "retrieve" the balls while you are trying to walk.

Over a hour to eat a bowl of soup. What is happening to me?

Twist must of been exhausted after the puppies came. Still haven't heard from him.

YUP or yip or yipe or squeak depends on the pup you ask.

@Cynthia12 My rash is spreading. Up my arm to the crook in my elbow then just the crook in my other arm and a small patch almost in my arm pit. Dry. rough and mildly itchy.

could it be shingles ??
