Granny's gone and done it again

Thank you for telling me ! I'm glad she is healing pretty close to normal. She will probably have some arthritis there when she is a little old lady.

no, they are all different. The only way to know for sure is blood work and testing . Its not too late ya know..

♥️

It could still be the heart or panic attacks. Why take the chance?
Thanks!!!!!!!! And because I feel better now and it is also after 10pm and I have no one to take me… I have to go to the doctor this week anyway so I will ask then

@Granny Hatchet, yep, the resident told us that and we told them we knew that arthritis would happen at some point in time. We have two 13 year old dogs and they both have it so we aren't any stranger to pain management and inflammation management for them. I'm just glad she's healing as well as she is and only has minimal growth plate involvement with the broken bone. It could have been so much worse. And most of all, DH wasn't injured in the fall.

Aw Pert, I'm sorry! Wish I could send you some of mine! You too Shrek! Everybody should have some of my good homemade, whole wheat potato bread.

Just to clarify. It's about 30% whole wheat. And contains potato flakes for texture.
Oh..there it is. Wheat. Yummy stuff.

Saw a video on youtube last week where a guy took a slice of store bought bread and held it under a running faucet. They soaked it, turned off the water, squeezed it out and it held its shape. Next they took a slice of home made bread, did the same thing and it disintegrated. They said it was due to all the preservatives (and cellulose?) they put in store bread to lengthen its shelf life. I found it darned scary.
Nah..we're all being preserved. 😜

I made biscuits today. That bread looks good. White? No wheat? I can't do wheat anymore. :(
Three loaves. My recipe calls for 2 cups each of whole wheat and bread flour, and 3 cups all purpose. I have to have the wheat. I love the taste and texture, and after my colonoscopy my dr said to be sure to eat plenty of fiber. So :wee . I want to get some wheat germ and flax seed to fortify it even more (about 1 Tbsp each per recipe) and those also will live in the freezer.

@Cynthia12, my DH on one grocery trip picked up a 5-lb bag of something called "Golden Wheat." It was 100% whole wheat, only a golden variety. It made a very pretty golden loaf. You can also get 100% WHITE whole wheat. These seem to be soft wheats. But I still prefer the familiar, nutty flavor of good hard, red wheat and the brown bread it makes.
