Obey is such a terrible word to me. I was married the first time they were using love, honor and obey. I asked the pastor to take it out. I would not allow that to be part of my vows.

@Cynthia12, so sorry to hear about DD. Of course prayers sent for a speedy recovery.

Not doing much today. Starting to suspect that due to inflammation my biceps repair is partially failed. I seem to have my popeye defect back but the arm is overall stronger than it was before so guess I'm going ot have to adapt because from what I've read about it, if the tendon doesn't heal right the first time, good luck getting it to heal on the second round. Not going down that road again.

I can imagine. My father would curse in front of the kids and I would call him on it. He said If they never heard it before they wont know what Im talking about and if they did then it didn't matter anyway. Or was it seeing things they shouldn't? Maybe both.

I do too. Hopefully next year I'll be able to buy discounted Easter lilies and plant them. I'm a bit bummed about my mint garden. One of the pullets got in there and decimated it. I don't see any mint growing in there at all this year, just weeds.
