Oh no! I still have all 15 adults, and they are healthy again.... It is MG. Still waiting on if it is still passable by using the chicks as guinea pigs... So far, no sniffles and it has been 3 weeks! So maybe I won't have to keep a closed flock.

I have 31 chickens now...... Oops!


So much for 25 max. I'm gonna be overrun with eggs....

Camping, according to that formula i have 16 chickens. I get between 9 & 14 eggs daily. Carried 4 EE 6 month old hens to the poultry auction friday night. Got there a hour before it started. Mine were 3rd from last to sell & almost everyone had left. $7 each. I have been upset ever since.

If I subtract laying hens, I only have one chicken. No wonder I need more!

Too late to try and plant grass? The chicken pasture is BARE. There's a layer of mulched pine needles so it's not a total sloppy mess, but I'd like to get some grass in there.
