Got to have a boy help me today with clean water water too, and watering the garden. Hubs is taking off to entertain the fellow visiting from China. They are going to explore San Francisco and spend tonight down there. Hubs is making me breakfast right now before he leaves. I think he feels guilty that he doesn't feel guilty for abandoning me in my time of need!

Mine were getting 2 scoops of mash and one corn and had left overs the next day. The new ones are eating every thing in site ! I wormed them . I hope it helps. Tempted to just give them away before any more is invested.

Getting rid of a few even if its means giving them away is going to reduce your feed costs and work load granny.
I only got rid of 2 pullets but I have sure noticed the feed is not going down as fast in that runs feeder. I went to refill it and I didn't need to.

I like the ones I hatched much better then the ones I bought. they are very pretty. IMO. anyway. LOL

Just love their topknots. Thanks granny for wet sock idea. I think the humidity last october is why i had a low hatch rate 12/42. I don t have hydrometer. Just follow directions on filling channels in incubator.
