I have taken to using the auger hole driller on the back of the tractor same system I used to drilling holes for the fence posts and railroad ties.

no rain when needed remember this was part of the great plains. I need to figure out some kind of drip irrigation system .

do you have clay ? If so the auger isnt wide enough. Need to loosen a bigger spot. I had the offer from a neighbor to come over next time I do a big planting to use that. I turned it down .

No, I am geographically challenged. so june berry should be hardy. what is native there ? How big of a screening are you wanting ? I will research it tomorrow if you want.
