Do you have to KEEP them away from Porter? If he's not around and you have a paddock of newly weaned youngsters, it might be easier to work with them. Hmmmm... I sense more fencing in your future...

I have 5 paddocks and the large pasture we should have done next week.
 
I noticed a few brown and blonde yaks in the pics. Goldens. If that one ranch has 90% of all the goldens, don't you think they are tad inbred?

I would think so since it is recessive you would need both parent's to be golden to get golden. OR at least one golden parent and one half golden. Like getting the Liver color in springer spaniels.

thank you. I did it originally to be able to rotate the animals around. BUT it will work for this as well.
 
The good neighbor that hays that field right there, where's his house? Too bad you don't have all that for yaks. Think how many would fit in there!!
