Porter did come up for head scritches today and all the other girls formed sort of a wall between him and Enola and the little one.

yep have the head gate just need to dig in and cement some railroad ties to hold it in place. For me no such thing as over built with yaks , I want to be around to enjoy them. I am thinking that if I can get Tibbit's registered, very tame, and he starts looking like Porter. I should be able to sell him for 3,000 to 5,000 as a 2 year old. maybe more. The little bugger has no fear already, but not super stable on his feet and suffers from "nap attacks" LOL

I would also use cable at the top of the ties and those tensioning things so the ties can't spread at the top.

So Porter was a very bad father this am The SOB "tossed" the baby into the air head over heels I guess. When I got out there all the girls had formed sort of a defensive cordon around Enola and baby. Porter has been BANNED he didn't even dare come over to treats.

PRESENTING TIBBITS GAY who was the planes first commander and picked the plane out on the assemble line.












He (unfortunately a he) has 2 white hind feet and one front foot is white, and then jus the tip of his tail is white. And a BIG white patch on his forehead.

I thought I had taken more pics but can't find them on the phone.

If we can get Enola registered he hopefully will make a great breeding bull for some else's herd down the road.

If Star was laying down panting, she's probably in labor. That's what they did in the yak birthing videos we were watching. Unless it's just hot there...

Personally I think Enola is doing great so far for a first time mom. Star did have a calf last year, so she should know what to do.
