wishing, the apple flavored can be eaten or applied. I will ask Two Crows if it can be used. Not silkie, Yes, you can cross anything but there are no silkied polish, yet. LOL

York, very pretty ! It looks like the one on the left.

How can I find out if its a frazzle ? Probably no way to. Even if he is I can still breed him to my straight feathered polish right ? If he is he carrys 2 frizzled genes.

Feed him an egg every day.

The white crest will look cool.

Is there a problem with frazzle? Frizzle is only one gene, so it's dominant?

Apple flavored?  They don't eat it??

look here  post #4
He may just have been picked on, but still, I don't think it will hurt him.  TwoCrows had a few other posts in the thread that are worth reading.  Never saw my wyandotte itchy or preening and no other birds got mites, so still not sure if this is what she had.
This sounds like some of my birds Wishing. Ratty looking feathers and bald, very red butts. Lots of dust bathing too. Is there a withdrawal on eggs for pour on Ivermectin?

Yes you can still breed him back to smooth hens. I would give him chance to get new feathers and see what they are like.
ya, Its going to take a long while to get healthy. But understanding from Leylas post I might give him a hen to start socialization. He has been in a cage alone since birth. So not only physical problems. LOL

Tell you one thing, you dont want one of those quills to poke you !

ivermectin is not actually approved for chickens but I believe its 7 days. But if its mites they need to be treated twice. Morning
