Thanks! I meant to get some game bird starter and forgot. Still have a few days to get it. Someone is supposed to be buying all the first batch that hatches, hopefully he'll get them quick.

26-28 days and I have had them start on day 25.

That one didnt need help, I just wanted to feel it hatch in my hand. It was awesome !

It really was. Tickled too. LOL the first time it opened its eyes and straight away was staring me in the eye.

I had mostly girls and my neighbor had males. Well All his males came here and spent the winter and come spring and egg laying time they left with the males back to his house and never came back ! LOL He offered them back. I said no need to, they will just go back. About half mile to a mile from me.

No, I sure dont. LOL He offered babies or eggs to me. Frankly I didnt miss them too much. . I couldnt change my yard around or work outside without the whole neighborhood knowing about it.

I'm not sure if I'll keep any, thinking maybe a few just to try the meat, some people have said it's good.

Hi Banti, It is a feeling like no other hu ? and, Mike, if you have one hatching on time and working quickly it really shouldnt hurt to hold it. as long as its at least half way zipped .

Not to make a habit out of it but to feel it one time ..
