My feet got so cold from standing in that water. Getting wet always makes them hurt so much worse. I should've changed straight into my boots, but I guess I had something to prove. We put up a "fence" to hopefully deter the deer. Bubba also peed over there, but with all the water I'm sure it didn't matter. The bed we planted the tomatoes in had deer tracks going right through the middle of it, luckily before it was planted. If we lose those tomatoes I'll cry. We spent $30 at the feed store, which is a lot for me because I'm a chronic plant killer. But that doesn't stop me from trying! :fl

I am sorry We spent about an hour looking for all the fencing tools today. They were finally found in the bucket of the tractor we have been using.

Rod just forgot that was were they were and of course he drives with the buck in the up high postion. So I would have had to be about 12 ft tall.

Tomatoes are expensive ! I was wondering if it was even worth trying to plant them. after I bought all the dirt I decided it wasnt. I bought them from the amish here for $1.00 a lb.

That drives me bananas looking for tools. Tom is forever moving things. I ask for a screwdriver and 10 min. later I am using a butter knife and an hour later he is still looking.

We got five tomatoes and two citronella. I was hoping it would repel mosquitoes for it doesn't. Not this kind. There are other kinds that do, I guess. At least it's still pretty, and supposed to be summer blooming! :yesss:
