they have some of those that vibrate dont they ? I wouldnt use one . I have seen where there is a correction tone that dont even go on the dog. I wondered what those are like. One was a bird house you hang in your tree then when the dog barks it just makes that sound.

Yep there are a lot of nicer alternatives she can use. There is no need for a shock collar. Her dog is already anxiety ridden.. That won't be good for him.
