newfie is right very hard water. tears coffee pot up in a month flat.

having lots of pain today. also just sold my first eggs . 5 doz. for $10. ? just 5 min. eariler i had told my step D I had them fro her when she comes up next weekend. LOL them hens better get busy !

i always buy spring water for coffee..when i use city water you can taste the chemicals..

wish i could use spring water. cant afford it. I drink tons of coffee. LOL not today though. its not just the coffee pot, its the washer, spickets inside and out. shower heads, ect...

Hi everyone

Water the same here, very hard and makes everything brake down. I get through washing machines like no ones business I like to believe it's the hard water and lime scale that busts them and not all the horse things I wash in it

Homegrown eggs are $3 here. I have a feeling the prices will be going up. Their food costs more. I don't buy eggs but my friend said plain old white market eggs were $3.50-4.00.

Would they start to work now or do you have to add the softener from the start when the machine is new? There are some tablets you can add over here, they are called "Calgon" don't know may start using them. I put a cleaner through my machine a few weeks backs and it was filthy I'm surprised clothes have not come out dirtier than when they went in with the filth that was sloshing around in there

it would stop any more build up I dont think they clean what is already there . not sure though. we also have calgon but it is for a person to put in their bathwater.

Run vinegar through your pots and stuff...it helps break down the hard water build up.
