it's just some ting i've all way's done i'm by no mean's the brightest star in the sky but i used to enjoy it
i might just start again but i think if you write from the heart who care's if it rhymes or not
if it means some thing to you that's really all that matter's

I can feel in your words what it /they mean to you. I think you should at least give it a go.

I personally would like to see one on the antics of the chickens. They do such funny stuff. Like my little serama looking like a rodeo clown on the back of my big polish hen. Ride em cowboy. LOL

hi  granny here's to night's poem i will have to give you some back ground cos i don't
think you have crown green bowling i think you have lawn bowling which is just up and
down crown green you use all the green  anyway we all started playing as a team when
we were around 11 the 12 of us stayed as a team for 25 years this i wrote for our skipper
when he got married in 1997 coppenhall is the club we bowled for so the poem's called

                                             THE LION OF COPPENHALL

he may not be a genius, and he's not of royal blood
but frank the lion of coppenhall, can bowl a da**ed  good wood
he would prowl around the bowling green, head blazing in the sun
wipe his spec's then scratch his arse' and say
              boy's let's kill them bum's

For i've seen the opposition, hell they look scared to death
the bugger's are so frightened, they'er fighting to draw breath
         the captain's stood there shaking
looks like he's about to throw a fit
what the hell are you lot laughing at, you crazy shower of s***s

The match it had just started, jack's zipped across the green
when i looked around and saw a space
           where frankie should have been
i gazed toward's the pavilion, and standing by the door
was janice with wagging finger, laying down the law

She said if you want to keep on bowling, with me you better wed
or find another nutcase to share your sodding bed
grown men chasing lumps of wood
                 you all must be insane
crown green bloody bowling, stupid bloody game

Frank stood there glaring, thought i won't be beat
but all he saw before him, was one hell of a defeat
he slowly lifted up his head, and raised his arm's on high
and then whispered a pleading prayer, to the big man in the sky

But alas god never heard him, god didn't turn a hair
god he would not answer him, i don't really think god cared
he might have gone on holiday, or had some other plan
but which ever way you look at it
              THE LION'S BECOME A LAMB

      hope you like it                                                :thumbsup
