Here are my chicks that hatched today. I have 3 more under the broody. I want to move some of these out under her also. Should I do it tonight or wait til tomorrow.

I have read and heard you should do it at night when the hen isn't so aware of what is happening.

x2, unless you know what she'll do. I had a marans once, I took week-old chicks and added them to her brood in the middle of the day. She took them right in, no trouble. But I like to do things wrong, just to see what happens.

evidently goat and yaks do mix. Rod's 2 small goatlings got under the gate and are busy hanging out with the yaks every one seems fine with this and now Tibbit's and Wagoner have new play mates.

thats cool, I wouldnt expect that especially with them having littles.

Should I give these chicks day to get stronger or just do it tonight.

What do you do with your yaks? Are they pets?
