No goats, but there's peeping under a broody! :yesss: Here's Roxie's belly today. And we've got a little discharge! Oldest chicks and guineas. Size difference. Very clear who gets size from the roo and from the hen. All the chicks are roos. Polish mix baby. Hard to tell, but these three are PUNY. Tiny little things. They act blind, peep loudly and often, and get the zoomies so bad they just flip into and off of things. Failure to thrive? Cocci? I'm thinking of moving then back to the indoor brooder with shallow dishes of feed and water. They're a few days older than those EE chicks. Any thoughts [@=/u/162672/Sally-Sunshine]@Sally Sunshine[/@]?
are these the same three as below ??? what in the world! did they get too cold? eat mold or something is really wrong with them! did you cull?
I haven't culled, but they are LOUD. one baby can't even stand anymore. I'm about to untape his legs so he'll be more comfortable. Sally I just don't know. Honestly they were sort of puny at hatch. They'd zip around the bator and get flipped into their backs and just cry and cry. I keep hoping they'll catch up, but I don't think they've grown a bit.
