I thought your photo was better than the ones on Wiki
Thanks! :hugs I walked through the web anchors the first time, and she (?) was rebuilding it when we went back. David guided her back toward the web, about face level for me. Then we talked about how the 2011 version of me wouldn't have been snapping pics of spiders deep in the woods.

It said the spider is poison like a black widow.
I googled ground rattler for the snake, aka pit viper. also poison.
I didnt look for the flower .

I changed the hospital brooder bedding today and added fresh shavings to the littles, then fresh hay for the bigger littles. I picked up all the trash right of the porch. Decided I'm going to start throwing the bedding right there because there's no soil, only sand. It breaks down quickly and will build up the soil so I can plant grass next year. Also hoping the nitrogen will be too hot and kill the briars. Thoughts?

where you been Wishing ?

Took #2 over to my sister house so he could help her with some yard and house stuff. That was around 8:30, and after I dropped him off, I went to Walmart and looked around. Got a few things we needed, chatted with a lonely lady in the cat food aisle, and got 5 yds of this beautiful peacock fabric for my sis. Couple more errands after leaving Wally's, and then I found myself in the fabric store. Getting a little tired of my jeans and a t-shirt uniform, so went to look through the patterns to see if there was a pretty shirt pattern I could get. Found a couple that might do, I want something a little tailored looking with a V neck. Have to wait for the coupons in the Sunday paper and go back. THEN I went grocery shopping and hurried home before my ice cream bars melted. It's 95 here today. So now I am plopped on the sofa in front of a fan. Ahhhhh....

Hubs had taken boys to the movies before I got home, so lovely and quiet too.

Sounds good to me. What could go wrong? Unless briars like extra nitrogen...
