Just discovered I can be signed in on BYC on my phone and laptop at the same time!!! Signed in double and no one to talk to, but I did get my pictures loaded finally!

Hi Linda.  Is your hubby going to take you out for some much needed date time? 

No. Hubby is working but I got a break today. My oldest took the littles out to lunch and shopping and I had the house to my self for a few hours.

Tomorrow I am gonna work in the suburban. Tried to make oldest watch videos about it but he says it's too hard. Lol what weinies

Here's another thing that's been taking up too much time.





A California Towhee fledgling. The dog keeps trying to eat it, and the parents frantically try to lure the dog away. They and Scooter have always had a love hate relationship. They chirp at him with ear piercing ferocity, and he watches them up in the tree and tries to get them when they come down. Towhees spend most of their time on the ground, and apparently, part of a fledgling's training takes place on the ground too. Would be okay if this guy could fly up and perch well, but so far he doesn't seem to be able to. The boys helped me put up a dog proof perimeter around the bushes where this little one hangs out and the parents come down and take care of him. I gave food and water and he made it through the night, but the dogs have been banished to the garage and tiny side yard until this guy gets his wings. He was still there this morning, but I haven't checked this afternoon.

Do you collect fabric and have tons of it stored for future projects? I do. Better than collecting shoes or purses I guess. My sis has a few tubs of fabric too, and I don't think she's used a sewing machine in 10 years! Not sure what the plan is for this, but she wanted some. (not fabrick did I really type that? )

OF COURSE I DO. It's the number one reason I can't use my sewing room right now. :/ But I can't help it! I had a PHENOMENAL vision for the most gorgeous quilt a few days ago. And I don't have the right fabric for it!
