out of I think 17 ee's I am down to 1 and then 6 Delaware's with at least 1 roo.

YES they fly/jump over a 4 ft or higher fence and then run around killing chick. There were 3 doing it today. Lucky I wasn't there I would have 3 hens in the freezer.

None of my other breeds have ever done that, NOT sure if that is a common trait with cinnamon queens (sex link breed ) or not.

I would ring their necks ! I knowthe broody has been bred out of them but wow ! Are you sure ? Pulling the heads off ? That just isnt normal .

If a chicken kills a chick would you find any evidence of it?

on the bright side now we/I know what is is/was and I can raise the fence by another row of chicken wire.

I think actually killing I will find out for sure tomorrow. And it's not like they are not being feed. There is always oats and also layer plus what ever goodies get cleaned out of 3 households.
