Hopefully he finds a different one. You would think in this day and age they could make ones that go in and mould straight away. That would be so much easier! Some kind of squidgy stuff that then sets.

Morning ladies, Im sorta up too.
Just called hearing aid place. Man is going to try and find a different one. The problem is, it wasnt molded for his ear . probably whoever it belonged to died before they even got a chance to wear it. I asked about repair. it is $350.00 . no payment options. He said to wait and see if he can find a different one.

Wow, what a nice guy! Bring that man some eggs! Or tomatoes. Or wear your mumu.

Scooter has that too.

We are back to our typical summer weather pattern, cool foggy mornings. I love it! Boys have dentist appts this afternoon and I will pick up my brother from the airport bus too. On his way back from Vegaaaaas.

#2 is going camping with his cross country running team at the end of the month. They are supposed to bring their own food. Anybody have ideas on reasonably healthy food that can handle not staying cold and is easy prep for a 14 yr old? I know he can bring some eggs. They sit out on the counter for a couple of weeks sometimes, with not problem. Tortillas and canned refried beans for burritos. (Then he will have an excuse if he doesn't want to cram into one tent with 8 other boys! hahaha!) Any other ideas?

I dont think raw eggs on a camping trip will work. They will be broke straight off. trail mix, Jerky, There are little cans the boys bring home from school that can be microwaved but not needed . like ravioli . MRIs powdered drinks and a canteen.

they do mold them. thats why this one hurts. It was molded for another. His insurance is the one bucking on him having it done.

I should have said, it's car camping, not backpacking, so they can bring heavy stuff and eggs too in a cooler. The coach will drive them into town to buy ice to keep things cold if needed. I was thinking about those instant food things, granny. Just not sure where to get them. Outdoor sporting goods store maybe. I just don't want him to eat hotdogs 5 nights in a row!
