I love yellow squash. Especially good with purplehull peas, cornbread & fried chicken livers.

Batter in flour or cornmeal & fry.
Cook in skillet with lots of onion & some oil umtil it browns. Love squash. Put 3 bags in freezer today & 2 bags of peeled tomatoes also.

quick fix to the small geyzers in the soaker hose. Electicial tape wrapped a few times with water running.

Jane you peel all your matters before freezing them ?? I must be lazy

I just wipe off and toss in the freezer . Then when I want to use them. run under water and the peels slide right off.
