Oh I'm so glad u posted that.. I was thinking about growing some for my chickies

A lot of people grow them cause they are pretty spendy to buy. They are usually pretty safe when they are farmed especially when in their own container and you know what they are eating. I debated doing it and saw some struggle with it so I never went for it.

Yea I found that out when I bought some dried ones... And there are nothing to them. My lil sis has reptiles that eat live ones so i figured it would maybe be a win win situation

They only carry them when raised in feces based compost..As with staphylococcus in humans it only becomes active when tranfered out of the chicken into the worm after the worm eats the feces..

My Granny gave me a sewing machine...practically brand new.

Anyone sew?

What is the easiest thing I could start, I am thinking a quilt??

(I took sewing in school about 30 years ago and don't rem one thing from the class!)

I also got a ton of yard and crochet things.....start with dish cloths/towels maybe?

I need a real Granny in my area that could teach me...argh!

Are the dried mealworms just as healthy as fresh ones?
The ones I buy are basically just a thin shell.
