how was your first day?

Im thinking about starting a meal worm farm too!
My DD has an nasty bearded dragon that likes them too.
Well this would have been my 5 day back. Kids started last Wednesday so we had to go back on Tuesday to prep stuff for opening day... But I'm pooped to say the least... It's none stop the whole time I'm there. But I'm able to take my kids to school and pick them up everyday except Friday's... Yea that's one of the "critters" my sis has a bearded dragon... Used to have a whole room full now she's down to two

OH ok...Do you work at the same school as your kids?

I assumed you started back today! lol

Check this out:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/803403/mealworms-live-vs-dried

Its a very short thread....I did a google search about live vs dried mealworms and the first article the google pulled up was a BYC one!

I just learns a few things from that thread.

My Granny gave me a sewing machine...practically brand new.

Anyone sew?

What is the easiest thing I could start, I am thinking a quilt??

(I took sewing in school about 30 years ago and don't rem one thing from the class!)

I also got a ton of yard and crochet things.....start with dish cloths/towels maybe?

I need a real Granny in my area that could teach me...argh!
I do some sewing and crochet some. Not the best but it takes me forever!

Its also way cheaper to raise your own and simple to dry roast them..

Welcome to BYC Worm, I hope you are enjoying your time here. There is a section here for buy sale trade. You might want to post there. Thats great info about the mealworms. It seems as dried has more going for it then live especially with protein. Would that be because they are able to eat more by volume or would that be per worm ?

Hi ladies, I got about 15 strips of the tallest grass mowed this morning and was hurting to bad. I had to go at a crawl and my tractor died a few times. So I came in and crashed til a certain boy decided he couldnt wait any longer to eat my meatloaf and the "pup" woke me up. At least thats who he blamed.
