We ve cut our timber multiple times. Doesn t mean your gonna develop the land. Is it pines? They have to be cut or else they start to die. He may be making it into pastureland. U said he built a fence.

I'd go walk over and ask the worker mans what is going on.

(my son calls all construction type men...worker mans!) it stuck with me

I would take a guess by the end of summer instead of smelling honeysuckle I will be smelling cow shiit

Is that what ya'll are going to do?

We have had our house for 12 years.....I am so ready to move to LAND...acres...
We have kinda been looking but it's so expensive...and it's going to be such a pain to build from scratch....

My mom is having a barn built..they should be starting anyway now.
It cracks me up..I think of barn for animals...she doesn't have any!

The upstair of the barn with be a huge office and downstairs will just basically be storage.

I don't think we can qualify for such a loan. So that is why I just want the land for now.

Down here 5 acres goes for no less than 100,000.....this is not even in a GOOD location.

My BIL just found 1.5 acres for 50,000 and it looks big enough since it's empty....
Ill have to see how big it looks once his house if finished.

5 acres can go anywhere from 25k to 80k depending on the quality of the land. Right now Thurston county has the ground hog problem. They are supposibly going extinct so building on land takes a lot longer to have your land surveyed for that alone. 3 tests a month apart and not during their hibernation season. And not a lot of people can do the testing.

Its getting harder but you can still find land here for $1500.-2000.00 an acre. city says you must have min. 2 1/2 acres for a septic tank.

HOLY CRAp are you serious!

Boy o boy that would be a done deal if I could find that here!
I'd buy at least 10 acres and live in a tent and port a potty while we built a house!
